These are not a better idea from sony for sure. wish I could get my money back on these. I wouldn't give it 1 star except amazon requires you to rate it, how about allowing half a star. poor quality, doesn't fit a tall person (6'6") lose sound just moving away from transmitter. headset hard to replace on charger.
No dropouts - very good link. Everything I expected and more. Range is about 18 feet.
I would reccomend these head sets. Just remember you have to stay in the same room as the base. The headphones have met all of my expectations. The sound is great.
Only had it for less than 1 month. Was as great as hoped so far.
If you want your head vibrating on bass notes, that's your call. It's supposed to "enhance the bass notes in games and music". Okay, sure. Bought these for playing video games on an HDTV, and to replace a pair of wired headphones that make me feel like my head is in a vise.First impression, these headphones are very comfortable. Personally, it's a feature I have very little use for.Bottom line, they're great headphones at a great price. Sound quality is excellent. Big, cushioned ear cups fit perfectly, and the headband has plenty of support to put the weight of the headphones where it should be: across the top of your head, rather than resting on your ears. Pay attention to the position of the IR base, or you'll start hearing static as you move out of range, but once you've got the base positioned, sound quality is excellent.The only feature I don't understand is the vibration switch.
